Raptis Coffee is certified to sell 100% Organic Coffee.  

All of our coffee that is organic is marked with the USDA ORGANIC symbol.  

To be certified organic, the process starts at the farm.  It starts with a list of substances that are banned from coming in contact with the final product.  These are chemicals such as fertilizers, cleaning agents, and pesticides. The soil must be clear of these for years before the coffee bushes can even be planted.

From the farm to the final product, there is very strict process control, with records being kept all along the way.  We receive the coffee in 150 lb burlap bags, we even have to inspect the trailers the coffee comes in on to make sure there was no contamination from banned products.

In our factory, we have separate storage locations for all organic product.  Every time we run organic coffee, we purge all of our machines to make sure there is no contamination from non-organic coffee.
